چکیده

This study aimed to evaluate the dry matter digestibility, intake and metabolic profile of ewe lambs fed active or inactive yeasts in diet containing fibrolytic enzyme. Twenty crossbred animals with an average weight 33.4kg age six months were distributed a completely randomized design. The treatments consisted yeasts: Control (no yeast), Milk Sacc X® (active Active Flora® yeast + yeast) Rumen Yeast® (inactive yeast). Analysis variance SNK test applied significance level 5% for type I error. There was no difference between (P>0.05). significant trend (P=0.0596) higher values control treatment. blood metabolites (P=0.0705), which Sacc® superior other total protein concentration. In addition, there statistical (P<0.05) urea concentration, others. inclusion enzyme reduces dietary without affecting intake, it increases levels causing liver kidney damage lambs.

Performance of Lactating Dairy Cows Fed Yeast and Fibrolytic Enzymes

We evaluated the effect of supplementing typical dairy diets with yeast and fibrolytic enzymes on dairy cow performance. Twentyfour Holstein cows were used to evaluate the effects of yeast (Procreatin-7, a live culture of Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and various amounts of FP800 (a fibrolytic enzyme mixture) on lactation performance. Treatments were arranged in a 4 × 2 factorial design consisting ...

Effect of exogenous fibrolytic enzyme on ruminal fermentation and digestibility of alfalfa and rye-grass hay fed to lambs.

This experiment was carried out to study the effect of a directly fed exogenous fibrolytic enzyme on intake and digestion of DM, OM, protein, NDF, ADF, and hemicellulose of alfalfa and ryegrass hay by sheep. Four diets were randomly assigned to four ruminally cannulated lambs using a 4 x 4 Latin square design, repeated in time, with a factorial arrangement (2 x 2) of diets: 1) alfalfa hay; 2) a...

A study of rumen microbial community of Baluchi lambs fed a high concentrate diet containing conventional ingredients

Baluchi sheep is the dominant fat-tail breed in Iran. We studied the microbial communities in the rumen of four Baluchi lambs fed a high concentrate conventional diet. Using DNA extracted from the rumen samples, we found the partial ribosomal rRNA of bacterial and archaeal were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The amplicons were sequenced using 454 Titanium pyrosequencing and the d...
